Air Duct Cleaning

Remove all Vent Grills

The first step of the Rejuvenators air duct cleaning process is to remove the registers covering each vent in the walls, floor and ceiling.

Brush and Vacuum Air Ducts

Each air duct is then cleaned with a rotating brush that efficiently sweeps dust and debris from the duct walls.
All particles are removed directly into the vacuum’s containment system, where HEPA filters prevent any contaminants from escaping into your home.

Sanitize & Disinfect

There are a variety of conditions which require further treatments beyond the basic vacuum and brush. Insect detritus and moisture in air ducts may serve as a breeding ground for bacteria and other micro-biotic contaminants, dispersing potentially harmful particles into the air as the air blows. Chemical treatments to eliminate these contaminants may be recommended by a Rejuvenators technician and may be performed only after they have been authorized by the customer.

The Rejuvenators uses the highest quality sanitizing solutions that are safe for both residential and commercial uses. Please feel free to take a moment and review the chemicals we use on the left sidebar of this page or Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available to view upon request for all chemicals we carry.

Blower and Coil Cleaning: Brushed, and Washed with Sanitizer and Coil Bright

Cleaning the blower and cooling coils is an integral step to a thorough cleaning of the HVAC system. Ideally, the entire system, including the ducts, returns, blower and cooling coils will be thoroughly cleaned all in one step. Once the ducts and returns have been thoroughly cleaned, it is important to also clean the blower and coils, located in the main AC unit, to prevent recontamination of the ducts and returns.

The cooling coils receive cold energy from the compressors, which are located in another area of the system. The blower forces air over and through the cooling coils to produce the cool air. If the blower and cooling coils are dirty, the result is often that the thermostat needs to be set much lower that the desired temperature, and/ or the electricity bills are disproportionately high.

To clean the blower, the Rejuvenators technicians will need to remove it from its covering. They will then scrub it with brushes and sanitize it. After it is replaced, a diagnostic test is run on the AC system to ensure that the blower was reinstalled correctly. The cooling coils are cleaned and sanitized in place.
