The Chemicals We Use:

SPORICIDIN - This excellent sanitizer and deodorizer is designed to be anti-bacterial, tuberculocidal, virucidal, and fungicidal. Effective treatment of mold and mildew as well as being an excellent deodorizer. This product are registered with the United States EPA for use in air systems.

SOLID ODOR KILL - A scientific break-through in clean air methodology with a light “Rain Forest” scent. It sponges up unwanted air contaminants. Solid Odor Kill acts like synthetic char-coal. Its magnetic sponge attracts and deactivates the harmful pollutants in the air. Uncapped containers are placed into the return side of the air conditioner. Solid Odor Kill will become active after opened, and will be effective while it dissolves for approximately 3 months.

SMOKE ODOR KILL - Saturation spraying of smoke damaged surfaces and charred materials with Smoke Odor Kill solution detoxifies the fire damaged environment by inhibiting the evaporation of fire related gases.

ODOR KILL - This product is a high performance concentrate material, especially formulated to deal with problem odors. Odor Kill can be saturated into any porous material, natural or synthetic, and evaporated into odorous air to cause air-freshening effects. If evaporated, the total effect is lending a fresh fragrance to stale air, and killing lingering odors.

SOOT SET - Soot set is a non-toxic and non-flammable formulation developed as an air duct adhesive based on the shrink properties of a unique water-soluble polymer. A new type of fire inhibiting agent, containing aluminum, has been coupled to the polymer molecule to provide the safest to use material possible. The product is dispersed by fine fog aerosol into air ducts after source removal. The dried, residual lining in all of the ducts resists blow out of material impossible to remove during the source removal step.

ZAP! - ZAP! is the perfect product to keep Air-Care Electrostatic Filters clean, efficient and effective for all customers.

COIL BRITE - This product is a high concentrate non-acid cleaner for aluminum coils and fins in heating and air conditioning systems. A light spray of this product on the coils or fins will brighten them up and do an excellent cleaning job.

DYNAMITE CLEANER - Heavy-duty super strength concentrate cleaner, specifically designed for cleaning vents, registers and air ducts. This product will work very effectively on all washable surfaces.

SANI-DUCT - Kills micro-biotic air duct contaminants such as Bacteria, Dust Mites and Mold Application with fogger leaves ducts sanitary.

MICROBAN - An anti- microbial used to eliminate Mildew, Bacteria, Fungus and Mold. Also deodorizes and disinfects. This chemical is applied to the ducts after they have been cleaned to ensure that they are and will remain sanitary. Also used in hospitals and restaurants.

The Finest Equipment and Methods for Cleaning Your Air Ducts

The Rejuvenators air duct cleaning department has developed a unique system of duct cleaning that uses state of the art technology and tests cleaning techniques for optimum indoor air quality and HVAC system maintenance.*

STEP ONE: A Thorough Inspection

A special duct-camera allows our technicians to perform a thorough inspection of the air duct system. A fiber-optic camera is sent throughout the duct work using stereoscopic navigational wires, providing both the technician & the customer with a closer look at what’s inside. A main function of the camera inspection is to make an accurate diagnosis of the treatment for each individual duct system. Each duct system is different and it will require individual assessment to determine if chemical treatments are needed. It also allows customers the opportunity to view the ducts after they are cleaned.

STEP TWO: The Right Balance Between Power and Sensitivity

We use a portable extractor with a 6-stage vacuum chamber and HEPA flirtation to remove all dust and grime that has accumulated in the air ducts. The portable extractor provides the right balance between power and sensitivity that is necessary when cleaning various types of air ducts including flex-ducts.

Rotating brush heads are mounted to the end of the vacuum, which sweep duct walls air duct interiors cleaner than stationary brushes. All particles are removed directly into the vacuum’s containment system, where HEPA filters prevent any mess from escaping into your home.

STEP THREE: Beyond a Vacuum and Brush

There are a variety of conditions which require further treatments beyond a basic vacuum and dispersing potentially harmful particles into the air, and will continue to grow and spread if left unchecked. Similarly, insect detritus and moisture in air ducts may serve as a breeding ground for bacteria and other micro biotic containments. Chemical treatments may be recommended and performed only after it is determined that they are necessary through the camera inspection and they have been authorized by the customer.

All chemicals we use are safe to use in homes and many are used in doctors offices, emergency and delivery rooms, schools and restaurants, and other public places. Please feel free to take a moment and review the chemicals we use on the left sidebar of this page or Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available to view upon request for all chemicals we carry.

STEP FOUR: Prevent Recontamination

This step may be performed at the customer’s special request or may be recommended by a technician, cleaning the blower and cooling coils increases the efficiency of the Air Condition system, and when it is done at the same time as the air ducts, it prevents the duct system recontaminated from a dirty blower.

The cooling coils receive cold energy from the compressors, which are located in another area of the system. The blower forces air over and through the cooling coils to produce the cool air. If the blower and cooling coils are dirty, the result is often that the thermostat needs to be set much lower that the desired temperature, and/ or the electricity bills are disproportionately high.

To clean the blower, the Rejuvenators technicians will need to remove it from its covering. They will then scrub it with brushes and sanitize it. After it is replaced, a diagnostic test is run on the AC system to ensure that the blower was reinstalled correctly. The cooling coils are cleaned and sanitized in place.
